Avionics Testing

Avionics Systems

What is Avionics Systems?

Avionics are the electronic systems used on aircraft. Avionic systems include communications, navigation, the display and management of multiple systems, and the hundreds of systems that are fitted to aircraft to perform individual functions.

These can be as simple as a searchlight for a police helicopter or as complicated as the tactical system for an airborne early warning platform.

The cockpit of an aircraft is a typical location for avionic equipment, including control, monitoring, communication, navigation, weather, and anti-collision systems.

Avionics Testing

How to test the Avionics Systems?

The xMove Test Platform offers an integrated solution where you can connect your LRUs to the test sytsems and by combining simulated hardware you can test the avionics system without having the complete aircraft in the air.

The xMove Test Platform is modular and supports all the major ARINC communication buses and required discrete I/O. It is built upon the NI VeriStand Development System and xPlane Virtual Flight Simulation software.
