Generic HIL for rapid re-usability

The Automotive HIL Simulator, KADRO HIL, includes state-of-art parts from NI and is delivered as an off-the-shelf solution. It is designed to be extended and customized to meet your changing requirements. Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) is a powerful test method used to test embedded control systems more efficiently. When testing an embedded control systems, safety, availability, or cost considerations can make it impractical to perform all of the necessary testing using the real complete system. Aliaro have therefore developed a flexible HIL-system which simulates the system instead. You can configure the behavior of a setup without the need to change the hardware.

Flexibility

The Aliaro Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulator enables users to configure test connector pins in a flexible way i.e. each pin can be configured to perform different functions when needed, such as: AI/AO/DI/DO/PWM IN/PWM OUT. This is done using software-based configuration. By default, the platform offers fault injection on all signal channels. This makes the HIL system into a powerful but flexible test system, that can handle product changes without the need to change hardware.

Multi Purpose Options

ASAM XIL through Veristand

The HIL simulator supports ASAM XIL and can be used together with applications from suppliers other than NI – such as CANoe, VirtualBench or a mixed environment. Read more about ASAM and Veristand.
